China rescues first worker trapped in Shandong gold mine, state media reports
Rescuers in China have lifted to the surface one of 22 workers trapped in a gold mine for two weeks after an explosion, according to state media.

The worker was rescued at 11:13am on Sunday and sent to hospital for treatment, state media agency Xinhua reported.
The miner was “extremely weak”, according to a post on state broadcaster CCTV’s Weibo account.
