UBank offers lowest lending rate on record at 1.75 per cent
Mortgage lending in Australia has set a new low with a digital subsidiary of one the major four banks setting the lowest fixed term rate on record. UBank, the digital-only bank owned by NAB, has lowered its three-year fixed rate to 1.75 per cent for owner-occupied loans paying both principal and interest.
It is the lowest home loan rate within the Australian residential lending market that continues to offer rates below 2 per cent.
