“The board and Mr Bansal mutually agreed that it is the right time for Cleanaway to move forward under new leadership,” the statement said.
Mr Bansal had turned around the performance of the waste management company, formerly known as Transpacific Industries, but current and former employees complained he had fostered a toxic workplace culture and created an environment where senior managers could not escalate bad news for fear of reprisal.
