Largest energy class action launched in Federal Court over alleged power bill manipulating

More than 40,000 electricity customers are now officially seeking reparations from two Queensland state-owned generators they claim manipulated power bills. The largest energy class action in Australian history was filed in the Federal Court on Wednesday by firm Piper Alderman, who claim Stanwell and CS Energy “gamed the electricity pricing system and artificially inflated electricity bills”.
