Queensland police officer’s terminal glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) diagnosis sparks US treatment bid

The family of a Queensland police officer has turned to crowdfunding for potentially life-saving surgery in the US after she was diagnosed with a highly aggressive cancer.
Townsville mum and newlywed Bianca Anmore-Cortez was rushed to hospital in September last year.
She was suffering a “splitting headache” and loss of movement on her left side, her sister Ilona Dickinson says.
