‘Happy boxes’ provide women in remote communities with everyday essentials

The cost of essential items such as toiletries remains a daily challenge for women living in remote communities around Australia.
Key points:
- “Happy boxes” are being donated to women in remote communities
- The gift boxes include items such as shampoo, conditioner and sanitary products
- More than 70 businesses are donating products to support over 50 communities across Australia
Products many of us take for granted are now reaching people with limited access to such items, thanks to a charity called Happy Boxes.
It distributes gift boxes, known as happy boxes, that include essential items such as shampoo, conditioner and sanitary products, as well as a few little luxuries.
