Tasmanians are turning to caravan parks in lieu of affordable rentals
Two months ago, Tania Harwood and her family moved into their home in New Norfolk, about 40 minutes north-west of Hobart.

- People who are considered priority applicants for social housing in Tasmania are now waiting an average time of close to 64 weeks
- The State Government says it’s committed to driving down the waiting list, with some 600 dwellings currently being built
