Australian Open off to a shaky start as positive COVID tests wreak havoc

Andy Murrays participation in the Australian Open has been thrown into doubt after it was revealed on Thursday he had tested positive for coronavirus.The British former world number one was due to travel to Australia on one of a series of charter flights laid on by tournament organisers but is still isolating at home in London.

It is understood that Murray, apparently in good health, is hoping to be able to arrive in Australia at a later date.
