Man charged following abuse of McDonald’s worker over QR code check-in requirement – Sydney Morning Herald
The man was rebuked by NSW Health Minister Brad Hazzard on Monday after allegedly abusing staff and failing to register his details for contact tracing purposes….
“The man refused and allegedly became aggressive and verbally abused staff, before he pushed a cash register and printer off the counter and left the restaurant. No injuries were reported,” a NSW Police statement said.
The 25-year-old, from St Marys, was arrested at Riverstone police station on Monday afternoon. He was charged with damaging property, using offensive language in a public place and failing to comply with the COVID-19 public health order.
