Woollongabba: Violent carjacking outside Nando’s
Police have charged a man with a string of offences after a woman was allegedly dragged for several hundred metres during an alleged carjacking in Brisbane.
Police say a man and woman had parked their blue Mitsubishi hatchback outside Nando’s in the Buranda Shopping Centre carpark at 7pm on Monday, when the man went inside to collect food, leaving the car running while the woman waited in the passenger’s seat.
It’s alleged an 18-year-old Ellen Grove man then opened the car and sat in the driver’s seat before driving off.
