UK campaign urges people to obey lockdown rules as COVID deaths surpass 80,000

The British Government has launched a public information campaign in an effort to improve adherence to COVID lockdown restrictions.

England went into lockdown last Monday, with an order for people to “stay at home” unless they need to leave the house for essential reasons, such as shopping, essential work, or exercising once a day.

On Saturday, the Government reported another 1,000 deaths from COVID-19, bringing the country’s death toll from the virus to more than 80,000.
