Queensland records zero new COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Dr Young said 187 people had come forward in response to contact-tracing alerts related to the cleaner’s movements, of which 147 had been identified as close contacts.
The remaining 40, she said, were being managed by authorities as they were not considered close contacts.
Of the 187, 122 have now tested negative and all are in isolation.
Queensland Health also issued an alert on Saturday asking anyone who visited the Coles at Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown on January 5 between 7.30am and 8.30am, or Woolworths’ Calamvale North store on January 3 between 11am and noon to get tested and quarantine for 14 days.
