Victorians in Brisbane hotspot told to stay put until Monday, returnees told to quarantine

Victorians who have visited coronavirus hotspot zones in Greater Brisbane since January 2 have been told to stay in those zones until Monday or get tested immediately and quarantine if they have already returned to Victoria.
Key points:
- Victorians already in Greater Brisbane will be under the Queensland Government’s three-day lockdown
- Those who have returned but were in the hotspot zone since January 2 must get tested and quarantine
- No new locally acquired cases have been reported in Victoria today
The Greater Brisbane region has been declared a Commonwealth hotspot after the highly contagious UK strain of COVID-19 was detected in a cleaner who had moved around the community in the days before testing positive.
