Those who remained in town after it was all but destroyed, in January 2016, say a simple weekly morning tea has been vital to coping.

Bethany Hendren, 18, was left battling anxiety after seeing the fires which destroyed her town in 2016.
“[I remember] just ash and then I saw the fire come over the hill … and I got anxiety from it,” she said.
