Gold Coast armed robbery: 18yo women charged
Two 18-year-old women have been charged after allegedly robbing a Gold Coast store at knifepoint.
Police allege the Benowa pair entered a store on Ashmore Road in Bundall about 8.35pm on Tuesday night before leaving.
A short time later, one of the women allegedly returned to the store and produced a knife, stealing goods while the other waited outside.
Police found the two women nearby and allegedly seized two small flick knives and drugs that include clonazepam and pseudoephedrine.
