Increased Pleasure From Drinking Signals a Higher Chance of Alcoholism – Technology Networks

A 10-year study of young adult drinkers conducted by University of Chicago Medicine researchers has concluded that those drinkers that initially reported higher levels of sensitivity to the rewarding and pleasurable effects of alcohol were more likely to develop an alcohol use disorder over the subsequent decade.
