Coronavirus row erupts between NSW and WA as McGowan Government accused of ‘lecturing’

Acting New South Wales Premier John Barilaro says he is “sick to death of being lectured to” by the WA Government over how the Northern Beaches COVID-19 cluster has been handled.

In the early days of the outbreak, the WA Premier Mark McGowan urged NSW to stop “playing whack-a-mole” in the areas where the virus surfaced.

He also criticised its aircrew quarantine arrangements.

“I am sick to death of being lectured to by Western Australia and some of the other states, when we’re doing the heavy lifting,” Mr Barilaro told…
