NSW records zero day but western Sydney cluster continues to grow – Sydney Morning Herald
NSW has recorded no locally acquired cases of coronavirus in the latest reporting period as residents from western Sydney are urged to get tested.
There were 22,275 tests carried out in NSW to 8pm on Sunday. Acting Premier John Barilaro said testing was “crucial” for the state’s response, indicating hopes of reaching daily testing numbers of up to 50,000.
“My plea today for those in western Sydney, please come out in numbers,” Mr Barilaro said.
