US surpasses 20 million confirmed coronavirus cases, as vaccine rollout lags behind forecasts
The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States has surpassed 20 million, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

The tally accounts for nearly one-quarter of the more than 83 million cases confirmed globally and is nearly twice as many as the country with the second most cases — India.
