Paramedics are raising the alarm after a spate of near drownings has overshadowed the start of summer. The QAS has responded to 65 cases since December 1, treating patients from pools, dams and beaches.
Concerningly, 29 of these patients have been under the age of 12. As the pinnacle of the summer holidays approaches, Acting Director Lachlan Parker and High Acuity Response Unit Paramedic Natasha Adams will be available to speak on these statistics and provide safety advice for the season…
