Queensland reports new infection linked to NSW outbreak

A Queensland man who travelled to the northern beaches and returned to the Sunshine State has tested positive to coronavirus.
The man in his 40s, who lives in the state’s south east, had been in the Sydney region at the time the deadly pandemic was spreading through the community.
When he returned home to Queensland, he had a test on December 18 but he remained in isolation and later returned a positive result after feeling unwell.
