James Steven Gould avoids jail for possessing child exploitation material
A man who stored a trove of vile material depicting “pre-teen hardcore pornography” downloaded through peer-to-peer networks has avoided spending time in jail.
Steven James Gould attempted to lie to police when confronted about his electronic stash after they searched his property near Brisbane in July last year, telling officers he did not know how it got there in the first place.
The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of possessing child exploitation material at Brisbane District Court.
He was remanded in custody last week but…
