A-League and W-League draws to be altered due to border closures and quarantine requirements
The A-League and W-League seasons remain on track to start as a double-header at Bankwest Stadium on Sunday, however Melbourne Victory will no longer be involved due to COVID-19-forced border closures and quarantine regulations.The A-League opener between NSW teams Western Sydney Wanderers and Macarthur FC will go ahead as planned.
But the W-League match has changed. The Wanderers were due to meet the Victory, but it’s understood the will now play Sydney FC to give the double-header two derbies.
