Nine dead as Kabul car bombing targets Afghan lawmaker
A car bombing in Kabul targeting an Afghan lawmaker has killed at least nine people and injured 20 others.

Lawmaker Khan Mohammad Wardak survived the blast but is among the injured, which includes women and children, Afghan Interior Minister Massoud Andarabi said.
The attack happened while Mr Wardak’s convey was passing through an intersection in Kabul’s Khoshal Khan neighbourhood.
The blast set afire surrounding civilian vehicles, as well as damaging nearby buildings and shops.
