Yatala police speeding blitz catches 22; motorbike rider 92km/h over limit
A motorcyclist doing 172km/h in an 80km/h zone was one of 22 people fined during a three-hour police blitz on speeding south of Brisbane.
Police held the crackdown on Stanmore Rd on Wednesday with four people issued with infringements for speeding at more than 40km/h over the signposted speed limit of 80km/h.
One learner driver, who was detected at 116km/h, also was fined for driving unaccompanied and not displaying his L-plates.
