Coles Supermarkets is recalling a spread after its label failed to note the possible presence of peanut.The Coles Wellness Road ABC Spread 250g has been available in supermarkets and online nationally.
“The recall is due to the possible presence of an undeclared allergen (peanut),” Food Standards Australia New Zealand said on Friday.
“Any consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed.”
