Matildas captain Sam Kerr scores in her UEFA Women’s Champions League debut

Sam Kerrs run of goals has continued in the UEFA Womens Champions League, with the Matildas captain scoring in Chelseas 3-0 win over Portuguese club Benfica.In her first WCL appearance, Kerr scored Chelsea’s second goal at Kingsmeadow to help the Blues progress to the last 16 of the competition with an 8-0 aggregate win over two legs.
She has now scored five goals in Chelsea’s past three matches in all competitions, including an English Women’s Super League hat-trick against West Ham.
