Hemmant recycling plant fire burn for days

Authorities warn a warehouse blaze at the Port of Brisbane could smoulder for “days” as investigators try to piece together what caused the fire.
At least 50 firefighters worked from the air and ground into the night at the Hemmant recycling facility after it caught fire on Wednesday afternoon.
Crews raced to the scene at 2.20pm after piles of cardboard reportedly ignited, going on to devour 20,000 cubic metres of compound waste.
