NT Government begins winding back coronavirus road border patrols

Northern Territory Police have begun demobilising eight coronavirus road border patrols, with the Chief Minister revealing officers’ presence at remaining road border check points could end by early 2021.

Michael Gunner on Monday said the police presence at the Northern Territory’s minor road border entry points of Docker River, Tobermorey, Lake Nash, Mulga Park, Curtain Springs, Tanami, Kintore and Finke would be wound back over the next week.
