Wild weather set to worsen on Monday; move south
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a dire warning for people living on the east coast already smashed by the wild weather: it’s about to get a whole lot worse.
In some areas of south east Queensland three quarters of a metre of rain fell over the weekend while eight metre high waves have smashed beaches in northern New South Wales dragging the sand away and a fair chunk of the shore with it.
