Month’s worth of rain is expected to smother Brisbane and Southeast Qld
A month’s worth of rain is expected to fall in southeast Queensland this weekend, bringing a number of flood and strong wind warnings to the region.
The Bureau of Meteorology said up to 250mmm could fall in the surrounding region over a four-day period with flood warnings issued from Fraser Island down to the New South Wales border, including the Brisbane River.
The heaviest of the falls is expected to kick in late on Saturday.
