Sam Groth retired from tennis in 2018 and is now eyeing a prestigious golf title
Sam Groth was putting his golf clubs in his car when he heard the news Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews was shutting off access to all courses because of the COVID-19 pandemic earlier this year. It put a big dent in the retired Aussie tennis ace’s plans to get his handicap down to scratch and satisfy the competitive desires that golf had provided since he left the court permanently in 2018.
But as soon as the courses were open again Groth, 33, was back out there and now finds himself trying to qualify…
