Dancing allowed as restrictions ease
Queenslanders will be allowed to dance again from next week, just in time for Christmas and New Years celebrations.
“The Nutbush is back,” Queensland Health Minister Yvette D’Ath decreed, as she and the chief health officer announced a further easing of restrictions that would allow people to hit an indoor dance floor once again.
From Monday, one person per two square metres will be allowed to dance, with both the Health Minister and CHO urging people to be “sensible” with how they dance and who they dance with.
