Racial harassment charges laid against David Lawrence Thomson over offensive signs in Perth

A 58-year-old man who allegedly wrote offensive words and symbols on signs and distributed them through Perth suburbs has appeared in court charged with conduct intended to racially harass.

Police allege David Lawrence Thomson placed the items, which included CDs and a hand-drawn cardboard sign, around Belmont and Rivervale on 30 occasions over almost two years, from April 2018 to July 2020.
