Adelaide vet fined for not handing over blind dog’s medical records
An Adelaide vet who refused to hand over a dog’s full treatment records to a Victorian clinic when its owners moved state has been fined and reprimanded.

Adelaide veterinary surgeon Francoise Christine Clarke began treating Maltese terrier Priscilla in 2010.
Its owners moved to Victoria in 2016, by which time the dog had gone blind.
But when the Victorian clinic they chose to treat the dog requested its treatment records, Dr Clarke only provided a one-page summary of her clinical notes.
The full notes ran just over 16 pages.
