Paul Whyte accused of arranging $1.3 million Roebourne land sale to help gambling associates
WA’s corruption watchdog is investigating whether disgraced public servant Paul Whyte arranged the sale of land to the State Government at a hugely inflated price to benefit his gambling associates.

A Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC) hearing was told the public examinations would “raise the curtain on the saga of the Roebourne police housing complex”.
“At the very best the Department [of Housing] missed out on an opportunity to buy land cheaply,” CCC Acting Commissioner Scott told the hearing.
