Victoria coronavirus cases in Hume, Wyndham and Melbourne as city prepares to lockdown – 7NEWS.com.au
The major areas of concern currently have 145 active cases and there are only two Melbourne LGAs that have zero.

After the announcement Melbourne would go back into lockdown, data has shown where the virus is spreading most across the city.
On Tuesday, the Victorian health department revealed there are only two Melbourne local government areas that have zero active cases and two have more than 100 each.

One of the major areas of concern is the city of Hume, which has 145 active cases of the virus.
The increase is 64 more than this time last week.
Wyndham is also a worry with 105 active cases as seven days ago the area only had 12.
Brimbank has 77 active cases, Moonee Valley has 50, Moreland has 38, Maribyrnong has 21 and Melton has 20.

Port Phillip, which contains suburbs such as Albert Park, Balaclava, Elwood and South Melbourne has nine more active cases than this time last week and is now at 12.
Of all the local government areas in Melbourne, only two are currently coronavirus free.
These are Glen Eira and Cardinia.

- Cardinia – 0
- Mitchell – 7
- Greater Shepparton – 1
- Maroondah – 3
Across the entire state there are currently 772 active cases.
Many of the areas contain postcodes that are not in the 12 Melbourne hotspots and it is one of the main reasons the city is going into lockdown.
From midnight on Wednesday, metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire will have Stage 3 restrictions reimposed and there will only be four reasons for residents to leave home.
These are for exercise, work or education, care-giving and food and supplies.
