Swans have been reported swimming in circles with blood seeping from their nostrils

The avian flu which killed six of Dawlish’s famous black swans is being blamed for bizarre symptoms among infected birds which include bleeding from the nostrils and swimming around in circles.
Birds on Ulverston canal in Cumbria were seen acting strangely before dying soon afterwards. It is thought they were infected with the ‘highly pathogenic’ new strain.
The news comes after it was revealed that more than 10,000 turkeys will be culled at a premises in North Yorkshire after avian flu was confirmed…
