700 travellers from Victoria refused entry

More than 700 travellers from Victoria have been refused entry into Queensland since tough new border restrictions were enforced on Friday.
Anyone who has travelled from Victoria – including Queenslanders – have been barred from entering the state since noon on July 3 unless they quarantined at a hotel at their own expense for two weeks.
Since the restrictions came into force, Queensland Police have intercepted almost 1000 vehicles trying to get into the Sunshine State.
