Brisbane Heat star taken to hospital after COVID-19 diagnosis

Brisbane Heat star Mujeeb Ur Rahman is in hospital on the Gold Coast after being diagnosed with coronavirus while serving his quarantine period at the Voca Hotel in Surfers Paradise. The 19-year-old, who is the No. 2 ranked Twenty20 bowler in the world, has been isolated in his hotel room since flying to Australia last week for the Heat’s Big Bash campaign, beginning against the Melbourne Stars on November 11.
