Mads Mikkelsen addresses Johnny Depp drama and replacing him: ‘It’s sad’
Actor Mads Mikkelsen is joining the cast of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them 3, replacing Johnny Depps character of Gellert Grindelwald.The 55-year-old opened up about taking over the role, when Depp departed from the film franchise after losing his libel case against The Sun earlier this year.
The actor was first rumoured to take over the role in early November, but initially denied reports.
However, now that it has been confirmed, the actor has opened up about his new role.
