Long committal hearing set for mum accused of murdering kids
A date for a lengthy committal hearing has been set in the case of a Gold Coast mum accused of murdering her two children in a grim plot to claim insurance payouts.
Maree Mavis Crabtree did not appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday when her case was briefly mentioned in the late afternoon.
Ms Crabtree, who is in her 50s, was arrested in January 2018 over the alleged murders of her children Jonathan, 26, and Erin Crabtree, 18.
