Toyota issues safety recall for 24,000 HiLux and Fortuners
Toyota Australia has issued a safety recall for nearly 24,000 of its popular vehicles over faulty brakes fears.The major car manufacturer is concerned the fault applies to Diesel HiLux and Fortuner vehicles made between June 2018 and December 2018.
“Within the brake booster of involved vehicles, the strength of the resin piston could degrade due to improper moulding conditions during production,” the company said in its recall.
