ICAC prosecutions cleared to proceed as appeal court gives Troy Bell corruption trial green light

A dozen South Australian corruption prosecutions, including the case against Mount Gambier MP Troy Bell, will go ahead after the state’s highest court found the anti-corruption watchdog could investigate once charges had been laid.

The Full Court of the Supreme Court ruling means the 47-year-old politician has failed to halt his District Court trial for allegedly misappropriating public funds while running an early learning centre at Millicent.
