Protests in Paris turn violent in wake of footage showing police bashing black music producer Michel Zecler
Black-clad protesters have clashed with security forces at the end of a demonstration against police violence in Paris.

- The interior ministry said there were 46,000 protesters in Paris, with 37 police officers and gendarmes injured
- The protests follow publication of CCTV footage showing police beating an unarmed black man
