Residents and visitors to Geelong’s northern suburbs and Lara are being warned to be on the lookout for any coronavirus symptoms.
It comes after fragments of the virus were detected in a wastewater sample collected from the Oyster Cove wastewater treatment plant in Corio.
Anyone who was in the northern suburbs from Saturday 21 to Tuesday 23 November and develops mild symptoms is being urged to get tested.
