The MacBook Pro with M1 heralds a new era, not just in MacBooks but in notebooks and PCs in general.
There are basically two modes in which the new MacBooks operate: regular mode, which is used when you run applications specifically released to run on Apple Silicon processors; and “Rosetta 2” compatibility mode, which turns on automatically when you run applications that were released for Intel-based Macs.
