NSW Jobs, Investment and Tourism Minister Stuart Ayres has come under fire for declaring on Q+A that those who take a “precautionary” COVID test do not need to self-isolate.

Mr Ayres made the comments — which go against NSW Health guidelines — as he tried to defend NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian over revelations she failed to self-isolate after taking a test last week.
