Man charged over wild Brisbane police chase

Footage of a wild and dangerous police chase has been released, showing the driver of a car crashing into multiple cars in an attempt to allegedly avoid arrest.
Dashcam videos captured the man colliding with three stationary cars at the intersection of Stanley St and Wellington St in East Brisbane at 5.20pm on Friday.
Police sighted the car and started a short pursuit that continued onto the M1.
In the footage, the driver can be seen colliding with two other cars before officers called off their pursuit.
The vehicle continued being driven through Brisbane City before it crashed into a truck at the intersection of William St and Margaret St.
