It seems Australians just dont learn. Despite the country surviving the first toilet paper panic of 2020 without running short, as soon as South Australia’s lockdown was announced, the first thing residents did was head to the supermarket and strip the shelves of loo roll.
Drakes Supermarkets director John-Paul Drake marvelled at people’s reaction as soon as the lockdown was announced.
He told Sunrise people needed to “calm the farm”.
